Build
Front Fender Liners & Radiator
Step 01
Retrieve your Chassis assembly from the previous stage. Fit the Left Front Fender Liner onto the Front Middle Chassis (over the left front wheel), as shown, and secure the Left Front Fender Liner down with two (2) DM screws at the front.
This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:
Then, use one (1) NM screw at the rear outer hole…
… and one (1) CM screw at the rear inner hole:
Step 02
On the other side, fit the Right Front Fender Liner onto the Front Middle Chassis (over the right front wheel), as shown, and secure the Right Front Fender Liner down with two (2) DM screws at the front…
… one (1) NM screw at the rear outer hole…
… and one (1) CM screw at the rear inner hole:
Step 03
Fit the two pins of the Radiator Tank into the matching holes on the top edge of the Radiator Front, as shown.
The two alignment pins are different sizes, so this should only fit together one way:
Secure the Radiator Tank in place from underneath with two (2) DP screws, as shown:
Fit the Radiator Rear into the Radiator Front, and secure with six (6) HP screws, as shown:
Step 04
Push the D-shaped socket of the Radiator Filling Cap onto the matching D-shaped post of the Radiator Tank:
Fit one end of the Overflow Tube onto the pin of the Radiator Filling Cap:
Thoughts
We are starting to close in the engine bay, but with a lot of plastic parts.
