“In this stage, you fit the brake fluid hoses underneath your Ecto-1, as well as fitting the left rear wheel and tire.”

Parts
Materials: The tire is hard rubber, the wheel is metal, the hoses are PVC vinyl, and the Hub Cap and Center Cap are both plastic.
Build
Brake Fluid Hoses & Left Rear Wheel
Step 01
Fit the Outer Wheel into the center of the Left Rear Tire.
These steps are the same for all of the wheels:
When you are working with this wheel, take care not to break off the little plastic valve stem:
Turn this assembly over and place the Inner Wheel into the tire so the three screw holes line up:
Secure the wheel parts together with three (3) black CM screws.
This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:
Step 02
Retrieve the Left Rear Brake Drum assembly from Stage 30. Here is a reminder of which brake drum is which:
Fit the ends of two of the Brake Fluid Hose 3 onto these pins of the Left Rear Backing Plate, as shown.
Retrieve your Chassis assembly. Fit this Brake Drum assembly to the left rear axle post so the brake hoses face the center of the car.
There is a notch in the back of the Brake Drum assembly that aligns this to a tab on top of the end of the axle:
Step 03
Pass the two Brake Fluid Hose 3 lines under the axle and frame:
Slide one end of each Brake Fluid Hose 3 onto these driver-side pins of Oil Pipe Splitter A and Oil Pipe Splitter B (both from Stage 20).
I trimmed both of these hoses down to fit a little better:
Fit the Brake Fluid Hose Bracket to this location on the Rear Chassis as shown, and secure in place with one (1) GM screw:
Slide the ends of the two remaining Brake Fluid Hose 3 over these two pins of the Shock Absorber Lower Mount, as shown:
Thread these hoses under the Brake Fluid Hose Bracket we just installed, towards the right-side of the chassis:
Step 04
Fit the Left Rear Wheel assembly over the Brake Drum on the left end of the rear axle:
Fit the Hub Cab onto the center of the wheel, making sure this small hole goes over the air valve as shown:
Secure the entire wheel to the axle with one (1) LM screw, as shown.
If you tighten this screw too much, the wheel will not be able to turn:
Press the Center Cap into place at the center of the Hub Cap.
I always leave these caps off until the car is complete, just in case we need to re-tighten the screws or remove the wheels later. I barely pushed it into place for this photo.
UPDATE June 7, 2021: Mike Lane has released his Magnetic Wheel Caps mod to replace these stock Center Caps – check them out!
Step 05
Retrieve the Right Rear Brake Drum assembly from Stage 30. Push one end of Brake Fluid Hose 1 (the shorter one) onto this pin of the Right Rear Backing Plate, as shown:
Push one end of Brake Fluid Hose 2 (the longer one) onto this pin of the Right Rear Backing Plate, as shown:
Thoughts
Three wheels mounted, one to go! Keep the two unused Brake Fluid Hoses nearby as they and the Right Rear Brake Drum assembly will be installed in the next stage.
