“In this stage, you fit the ammeter and clock to the dashboard upper panel, as well as the spotlight module.”
Materials: Everything in this stage is plastic.
Ammeter, Clock & Spotlight Handle
Look at the details on these little parts!
First, take note of the keyed slots in each of these gauge holes. The gauges both have tabs that align each one correctly:
Fit the Ammeter into this left-side round opening of the Dashboard Upper Panel:
Secure the Ammeter into place from behind with one (1) EP screw:
Fit the Clock into this right-side round opening of the Dashboard Upper Panel:
Secure the Clock into place from behind with one (1) EP screw:
Push the narrow D-shaped end of the Unity S6 Spotlight Handle into this matching hole of the Dashboard Upper Panel, as shown.
This was supposed to be a simple push-fit connection, but the angle is really bad and I snapped this part in not one, but two places at the same time:
Not to worry, I used some super glue gel to fix it right up:
Push the two pins of the Hydramatic Quadrant into these holes of the Dashboard Upper Panel, as shown.
This was push-fit as well. Pay attention to the angle of the pins, when inserted, this should sit flush against the dashboard:
Oh boy, so many little parts! I definitely struggled a bit with finger dexterity to get everything installed, especially the Hydramatic Quadrant.
