Build

Second Jump Seat Seatback

Step 01

Fit the Jump Seat Seatback Sponge into the Jump Seat Seatback. Then, fit the Jump Seat Seatback Interior over the Jump Seat Seatback Sponge and secure it to the Jump Seat Seatback with four (4) MP screws.

We have done this a few times already in the previous stages. If you need clarification, check out those steps:

Fit the Jump Seat Seatback Interior to the smooth side of the Jump Seat Seatback Frame, align the four screw holes, and secure these parts together with four (4) EP screws, as shown.

This seatback is directional. Take note of these two notches along the bottom edge:

These are where the legs of the Jump Seat Seatback Frame fit into, like this:

Once these are aligned correctly, we can install the screws:

Step 02

Retrieve your Jump Seat Base assembly from the previous stage. Align the holes in the square legs of the Seatback Frame to the matching holes in the Jump Seat Base so the two seats are facing each other, as shown:

Secure the Seatback Frame to the Jump Seat Base from below with two (2) EP screws:

Step 03

Retrieve the black Jump Seat Back Connector from the previous stage. Slide the three posts on the bottom of the Jump Seat Base through the matching holes in the Jump Seat Back Connector.

The smooth side of the Jump Seat Back Connector should be touching the seat base, as shown:

Retrieve your Cargo Area Floor assembly. Fit the three posts under this Jump Seat assembly to the matching holes at this location:

Secure this  Jump Seat assembly into place from below with three (3) IP screws:

Thoughts

Well, that should have been the last seat we have to build and install into our Ectomobile. While they are easy to assemble, it has taken six stages just to make all of our seats!
