Materials: The Left Front Window Frame Top/Right Skirtings are metal, but everything else is plastic.
Build
Left Front Window Frame Parts
Step 01
Fit the Left Front Window Frame Support to the bottom edge of the Left Front Window Frame as shown.
There is a pin on the Left Front Window Frame Support that fits into this matching hole of the Left Front Window Frame:
Retrieve your Left Front Door assembly from the previous stage. Fit the pins of the Quarter Light Window into the two small vertical recesses on the outside of the front window opening, as shown:
Fit the Left Front Window Frame assembly to the Left Front Door, sliding the lower tabs inside the door, then pushing the upper edge into place, as shown:
Secure the tabs of the Left Front Window Frame into place from behind with two (2) DM screws, as shown.
This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:
Finish securing the top of the Left Front Window Frame with four (4) OP screws:
Step 02
Remove the backing paper from the Left Front Window Frame Top Skirting and fit it into the top groove of the Left Front Window Frame.
When this is installed, be sure to line up the two holes at the front end, as shown:
In the same way, fit the Left Front Window Frame Right Skirting into the rear groove of the Left Front Window Frame as shown:
Finally, press the two pins of the Left Front Window Frame Top Cover into the holes of the Left Front Window Frame Top Skirting, as shown:
Thoughts
I am quite impressed with the amount of detail included with this window frame! A lot of little textures and pieces really come together.
