This stage will be the same as Stage 85, just on the other side of the car.

Materials: Other than the metal Lock Spring, everything in this stage is plastic.

Build

Right Rear Door Lock & Side Panels

Step 01

Retrieve your Right Rear Door assembly from the previous stage. Fit the Right Rear Door Top Trim to the inside upper edge of the Right Rear Door and secure it in place with three (3) SM screws.

This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:

Step 02

Fit Door Side Panel 1 to this location at the front inside edge of the Right Rear Door, as shown:

Secure Door Side Panel 1 to the Right Rear Door with one (1) DM screw:

Fit Door Side Panel 2 to this location at the rear inside edge of the Right Rear Door, as shown:

Secure Door Side Panel 2 to the Right Rear Door with two (2) more DM screws:

Step 03

Slide the Lock Spring over the ‘long’ end of the Lock Pin, as shown:

Fit this ‘long’ end of the Lock Pin into the round end of the Lock Base, as shown:

While holding this Lock assembly together, slide the ‘short’ end of the Lock Pin into the side hole of Door Side Panel 2, align the pin and screw hole of the Lock Base to the matching post inside the Right Rear Door, and secure it all in place with one (1) DM screw, as shown:

Thoughts

Just building doors, nothing to see here! Keep the unused Right Rear Door Window in a safe place as it will be needed soon.
